Belfast Softball Club
Following the success of last year's tournament, Belfast Softball Club are delighted to host its all-female indoor softball tournament again taking place on 9 March 2024 at Lough Moss Leisure Centre from 10am to 4pm.
In 2023, we held the first all-female indoor softball tournament, the only one of its kind in Northern Ireland. Attended by over 70 women of varying nationalities, ages, races, and backgrounds from across the island of Ireland, the event provided a fun, social, and competitive event for players. Designed to enhance sporting opportunities and try out roles as coaches, captains and umpires in a safe, inclusive, and diverse space, the event led to
- an increase of 200% in women registering for umpire training and officiating at co-ed games in summer 2023
- over 30% of participants requesting further umpire training
- 99% wanting a repeat of the tournament
- more all-female teams in Northern Ireland forming and entering tournaments in the Republic of Ireland
Open to teams from across Ireland, we welcome anyone interested in playing regardless of their level or come and watch.

It is suitable for those who need to understand the basics of evaluation, and those who need to enhance their skills in analysing and reporting data to be able to tell their story. Breathwork Facilitator Training
