This afternoon masterclass looks at a framework to help guide you in the content and theory of policy development.
The Investing in Volunteers UK Quality standard for volunteer involving organisations states that organisations should have a 'written policy on volunteer involvement that sets out the organisation's values for volunteer involvement and highlights the need for procedures for managing volunteers, based on principles of equality and diversity'.
