'Using a Structured Teaching Approach with Autistic People' Training

Course Objectives

Understand the main elements of a structured teaching approach and how you can successfully implement these in a person centred and neuro-inclusive way. This will include physical structure, visual structure, schedules, activity systems and positive routines.

Course suitable for any professionals who would like to understand more about how to use a structured approach to support autistic students or clients. Structured teaching can be beneficial for all age ranges so is suitable for those working with children, teens or adults. 

Course will include a range of practical ideas and examples that you can implement in your own setting.

Level 1 AQA Unit Award Accreditation available at an additional cost of £40.

We are the only autism specific training agency in NI to offer the AQA unit award scheme. The Unit Award scheme accreditations ensure a high standard of learning, understanding and self-development. The AQA Unit Award Scheme recognition is offered as an optional extra on many of our courses, at an additional cost of £40 per person. Accreditation takes the form of a short answer written assessment and usually takes approximately 30-40 minutes. For further queries, please contact the Training Department.

Training cancellation policy

A booking cancellation can be made at any time up to 5 working days before the workshop at a cost of 50% of the booking. For notice of less than 5 working days, you will be invoiced for the full cost of the booking.
