Universal Credit has fundamentally changed the legacy means-tested benefits systems as we know it. This intensive, in-depth one day course will identify which benefits Universal Credit replaces and which remain outside Universal Credit.
The course will explain the detailed rules of Universal Credit, including the basic conditions of entitlement, financial conditions, benefit caps, under-occupancy penalties and claimant conditionality, including sanctions.
The course is designed for advisers providing generalist or specialist benefit advice.
