This detailed half day course provides learning for advisers to ensure that they can manually calculate Universal Credit at an advanced level with a focus on:

- Treatment of Savings
- How to factor in Work Allowances and Taper Rates
- How each element of UC works in the calculation
- Self-Employment Calculations
- Student Calculations
- Transitional Protection Additions
- Benefit Cap and Bedroom Tax Supplementary Payment additions
- Work, LCW and Carers Issues

This course has been designed for advisers and others working in the area of Social Security who wish to give the most effective advice.
