This 90-minute nutshell course will refresh, inform and update learners on Universal Credit’s treatment of The Self-Employed including;

 

  • The Gateway interview and “Gainful/Not Gainful” pathway
  • How the Minimum Income Floor works, is calculated and exemptions to it
  • Conditionality for the Self Employed
  • Joint claims issues
  • The accounting information that must be submitted in an assessment period

This course has been designed for those in the advice sector and related areas. It is best suited to those who have already obtained a foundation knowledge of Universal Credit
