TV Licensing offer many different ways to help and support people within our community so come along to this training session where you will learn all about:
- TV Licence’s Simple Payment Plan (SPP) (for those struggling financially) and how to onboard people to this
- Concessions for blind - RNIB
- Concessions for people in supported housing
- Scams Awareness
- Vulnerable customer policy
- General latest information
Additional supporting materials can be provided to you after the training, which include:
- Newsletter copy (about TVL, SPP, Over 75’s, additional support, scams)
- Social media assets (and what to look out for with scams)
- The presentation / tool kit with all the relevant phone numbers, links and email addresses you can use
- Leaflets with a variety of information (ways to pay, getting your licence, advice for advisors etc)
- Follow up specific training sessions - If there is something more in depth your organisation may need

Making NI a Living Wage Region
Advice NIConferenceTraining/AdviceNorthern Ireland has the highest proportion of jobs paid below the real Living Wage in the UK, with some council areas seeing rates as high as one in four. Women are disproportionately affected, with 24.5% earning below the Real Living Wage compared to 16.3% of men. Part-time workers face an even greater disparity - at 38%, they are nearly three times more likely to be paid below the Real Living Wage than full-time workers, where only 13.5% fall below this threshold.- - -
