This informal training course running over 3 half day sessions will develop the skills and knowledge of anyone involved in the design and delivery of training events and / or presentations.
During this hands on session, participants will have the opportunity to apply what they have learnt by preparing and delivering a short presentation.
Outcome of course:
- Describe how to plan and structure a training event
- Develop techniques to facilitate and motivate adult learners
- Identify appropriate training methods and resources
- Manage group dynamics
- Use techniques to successfully end and evaluate a training session
- Develop and practice own training skills
Who should attend this training course?
This course will be of particular importance to housing advisers, community/residents groups, benefit advisers, political party constituency offices, private, social and hostel accommodation providers and anyone providing training around housing.
