This informal two day course will develop the skills and knowledge of anyone involved in the design and delivery of training events for presentations.
During this hands on session, participants will have the opportunity to apply what they have learnt by preparing and delivering a short presentation.
This course will look at:
- How to plan and structure a training event
- Developing techniques to facilitate and motivate adult learners
- Identifying appropriate training methods and resources
- Managing group dynamics
- Using techniques to successfully end and evaluate a training session
- Developing and practicing training skills
Who should attend:
- housing advisers
- community/residents groups
- benefit advisers
- political party constituency offices
- private, social and hostel accommodation providers
- anyone providing training around housing
