TQUK Level 3 Award in Education and Training (RQF)

Cost: £400 for NICVA members; £580 for non members

The level 3 award is designed for those working towards a teaching/training qualification or for those who don't want to take a qualification but want more information about how to teach/train effectively, for example, in your workplace if you train people as part of your job either in groups or as individuals.

Please book for an induction session from 1-2pm on Wednesday 20 February 2019.

Over the four days learners will be taken through the full process of teaching and training - known as the training cycle. We have designed activities to help you think about how you teach and practical activities that will help improve your delivery. The first three days, delivered on 13, 20 and 27 March 2019 from 10am - 4pm, cover the following areas:

Roles and responsibilities of a teacher
Barriers to learning and strategies to overcome these
The learning cycle and learning styles
Session Plans and schemes of work
Assessment types and methods
Visual aids and support

On the fourth day on 10 April 2019 from 10am - 4pm you will be recorded delivering a 30 minute microteaching session to your peers. This will form part of your assessment along with three assignments required to achieve the level 3 award.
