'Supporting Autistic Females' Training

This course will explore the key characteristics of autism and how they result in different experiences for an autistic person, it will consider why females may be underrepresented or missed in diagnosis of autism and explore the main differences between male and female presentations of autism. This course will provide practical ideas that can be used to support autistic females particularly in the areas of routines and organisation, sensory, communication, emotions, self-esteem and relationships.
Please note: The session will be facilitated on the Zoom platform. Registered delegates will receive a link to access the session approximately 48 hours before the session to enable access. The virtual training will be fully interactive and will include opportunities for discussion and question and answer sessions.
