This September, Clifton House have released four new online talks, taking place every Friday at 1pm.

These virtual talks will be facilitated by our knowledgeable staff and volunteers using Zoom. Tickets are £5 (price per device, not per person)

This month's talks are:

  • 4th September The Belfast Poor House Through the Centuries Online Talk Book here
  • 11th September In Life and Death: Clifton Street Cemetery Online Talk Book here
  • 18th September Doctors & Disease: The Medical History of the Poor House Book here
  • 25th September Lesser Spotted Graves of Clifton Street Cemetery Book here

Numbers for these hour-long sessions will be limited to 30, to allow for Q&A sessions at the end. The Meeting ID to join the online tour will be sent out the morning of the talk.

    The Adult Safeguarding Champion role combines responsibility for strategy, operations and oversight for an organisation in relation to adults at risk of harm under “Adult Safeguarding: Prevention and Protection in Partnership” (2015) and the “Adult Safeguarding Operational Procedures” (2016). Some organisations will also have Appointed Persons, with delegated responsibility for day to day adult safeguarding operations. This is a full day’s training for Adult Safeguarding Champions and Appointed Persons to support them in their role.
