Building on the runaway success of last year's event, RNIB Northern Ireland is proud to announce the RNIB Technology Fair 2025 - Northern Ireland’s top tech event showcasing assistive products and technology available for people affected by sight loss. Bringing you skills and tools for modern living - an event like no other on the island of Ireland

The biggest showcase of the latest assistive and adaptive technology for blind and partially sighted people in Northern Ireland is back bigger than ever.

Connecting blind and partially sighted people and their friends and family with products, services and tech solutions to help maintain and increase confidence and independence.

We also welcome professionals working with individuals with sight loss, and those in management hoping to ensure their companies are prepared for blind or partially sighted applicants, and to support any employees who may experience sight loss.

Whether it's learning more about using technology at home, at work, to travel, to stay in touch, or enjoy social and leisure activities, save the date - this is the event for you. With a wide range of product and service providers exhibiting in comfortable and accessible surroundings, free of charge.

Current exhibitors include but are not limited to:

  • Navilens
  • Humanware
  • Sight and Sound
  • Humanware

  • AbilityNet

An exciting programme of workshops and 'Tech talks' include:

  • Braille - past, present and future

Visitors can call into the 'Tech surgery' to ask any burning questions and get hands on support with any issues they're having with their current devices.

This year we are also celebrating 200 years of Braille.

Back in 1868, RNIB was originally founded to improve tactile literacy for blind and partially sighted people. RNIB’s braille products and services have remained at our core throughout our history. Our expertise in braille production, braille technology, and braille education is unmatched in the UK.

You can register your interest in attending, and keep up to date with the programme for the day on our Facebook event page: https://fb.me/e/4VCFYzkRa
