It provides guidance and Information to enable good Quality of Advice Case Recording, focusing on:
- Understanding the basic NIAQS requirements in relation to good case recording and auditing of case records;
- Understanding what CPD is and the importance of keeping it updated;
- Identifying areas of weakness, strength and good practice in case recording notes;
- Understanding the importance of researching and resourcing information.
The course combines online learning materials followed by attendance at a scheduled live online session which allows practical application and assessment of case-studies.
Course Objectives
Through engagement with learning materials on our Moodle platform and attending the scheduled live online session learners will gain:
- Information on how to evidence Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
- Guidance and Information enabling good Quality of Advice Case Recording
- Guidance on how to undertake Case File Reviews and Quality of Advice Audits
- Practical Audit Assessments of case studies
Who Should Attend
This course has been designed for those who do or are interested in adhering to the Northern Ireland Advice Quality Standard.
Pre-Learning Requirements
Learners are required to complete the online learning element of the training prior to attending the live-online session. This is an essential part of the learning, and access will not be granted to the live session for those who do not complete the online learning pre-requisite.
