The Children's Law Centre Is Reaching Out To The Voluntary And Statutory Sectors In This Quarter And Has Reduced Its Training By As Much As 40% To Support Everyone To Help Children And Young People Claim Their Rights.

Every child deserves equality of access to education and to a quality and inclusive educational experience, where their rights are fully acknowledged. This practical and interactive course outlines the legal duties within education in areas where a robust rights-based approach works in favour of everyone.  The course will cover domestic and human rights law in relation to a variety of educational topics, including, suspensions and exclusions, School Governance, newcomer children, children in ‘out of school’ settings, bullying, special education needs and disability discrimination.

This course will be of benefit to parents and carers, teachers, principals, SENCOs and teaching assistants in mainstream and special needs education, youth workers and youth advocates in the voluntary, statutory and community sector, Boards of Governors, health and social care practitioners and legal advisors.
