Preparing to Tender training

Are you ready to respond to an opportunity to tender for work when it comes along? When you respond to a tender how often are you successful? Good opportunities are hard to find and often come with very short turn around times, so you need to be prepared and make each bid as strong as possible. 

The course content and exercises are built from real examples and experiences from across the voluntary and community sector. You will learn all you need to prepare and consider before submitting a tender.

The one day course on 13 March from 10.00am - 4.00pm includes:

• how the income from contracts fits into your wider funding strategy
• how to prepare effectively for writing a proposal so you are able to respond to opportunities quickly and efficiently
• writing in an appropriate and effective style
• what makes a successful application or tender
• how bids are assessed and scored
