Parkinson's UK has paired up with a local dance company to create its very own first ever Parkinson's UK Does Strictly event. Ten couples will take to the dancefloor, perform two dances and compete for the all important glitter ball trophy. We want YOU to be part of this fabulous event! We are on the lookout for dancers as well as audience attendees to watch the show!

If you are interested in learning to dance, having fun, raising funds for Parkinson's UK and being part of our first ever Parkinson's UK Does Strictly event then please do get in touch. No experience is required and we can even match you up with a partner if you are an individual. Dancers will have to commit to at least 1 evenings training for 8-10 weeks prior to the show.

While the electricity powering lighting and appliances is decarbonising fast, the majority of homes still rely on burning fossil fuels for heating, hot water and cooking. This course will provide an introduction to the role domestic scale renewable technologies can play in reducing carbon emissions.
