Integrated Education Fund

As part of Good Relations Week 2024, Ulster University's School of Education and the Integrated Education Fund are hosting an event that aims to encourage exploration of sustainability and inclusion within our education system.
The event will include a keynote presentation by Dr Keir Bloomer, Chairperson of the recent Independent Review of Education. This will be followed by a presentation by Dr Stephen Roulston of the Ulster University research paper 'Isolated Primary and Post-Primary Schools in 2024: Duplicating Provision in a Divided Society?' as well as an overview by Dr Jessica Bates on the Ulster University 'Future Schools' project.
A panel of key stakeholders will be invited to respond to the presentations followed by a Q&A, including Majella Corrigan (Director of School Planning & Provision, CCMS), Nick Mathison (Chair of the Education Committee and Alliance Party MLA), Michael McConkey (Head of Area Planning, Education Authority) and Rachael Power (Community Relations Development Officer, Rural Community Network).
The event will begin with tea/coffee and registration at 10.45am followed by an 11am start. A light lunch will be provided following the event at 1.30pm.
