The Northern Ireland Awarding Body, OCN accredit the Level 3 RQF Award, the first step for trainers, tutors, assessors to work in an education and training setting. The qualification is suitable for new and existing facilitators and learning and development professionals. Comprising three units, learners will understand the roles and responsibilities, inclusive teaching and learning and assessment.
The OCN Level 3 Award in Education and Training course is delivered online using video conferencing technology. Assessment is by assignment. A micro teach is observed in person or online during the Covid19 pandemic.

Women are disproportionately affected, with 24.5% earning below the Real Living Wage compared to 16.3% of men.
