You are not satisfied with your current job

Community Interpreter Training, Interpreting Service, Translating Service

This course is suitable for both, unqualified and inexperienced bi-lingual people, as well as those who are working as interpreters, but haven’t got any training.

  • Duration: 8 week course. Fridays from 10.00 hrs– 15.00 hrs

  • Covers all 7 public sectors: Health, Education, Social Services, Housing, Benefits, Criminal Justice, and Immigration.

  • Covers Private Sector: Employment procedures, disciplinary procedures, and grievances

  • Guest speakers, full preparation pack, and online platform with detailed information on all sectors.

  • In order to achieve the accredited training certificate, the students will have a final role-play at the end of the course and they will have to submit a workbook. 

  • Students will receive an accredited certificate.

  • Introduces bilinguals to the interpreting business and presents them with an opportunity to start a career.

  • Progression route available.

 

The course is open to applicants of all languages. 

A limited number of part-sponsored places will be available to Malayalam, Pashto, Somali, and Tigrinya speakers.
