Community Interpreting Course is for you if: You would like to help your community You would like to gain qualification in order to interpret for NHS and Legal Sectors in Northern Ireland, as well as 5 more Public and Private Sectors You would like to learn how to be professional interpreter and how to actually deliver a professional interpreting session You are looking for a new career You are eager for a change. You are not satisfied with your current job

This course is suitable for both, unqualified and inexperienced bi-lingual people, as well as those who are working as interpreters, but haven’t got any training.

Duration: 8 week course. Fridays from 10.00 hrs– 15.00 hrs

Covers all 7 public sectors: Health, Education, Social Services, Housing, Benefits, Criminal Justice, and Immigration.

Covers Private Sector: Employment procedures, disciplinary procedures, and grievances

Guest speakers, full preparation pack, and online platform with detailed information on all sectors.

In order to achieve the accredited training certificate, the students will have a final role-play at the end of the course and they will have to submit a workbook.
