Belfast City Council is hosting a co-design workshop on Migrant and Employability Issues. If you’re involved in helping migrants to work in Belfast, we’d like to hear from you. We’ll be concentrating on two areas:
- Processes involved in having professional qualifications from another country recognised, barriers encountered, and actions can we take to plug gaps and meet skills shortages
- Workplace language skills requirements. Anecdotal evidence suggests a gap in a need for a ‘ready for working environment’.
