Motivation of staff is a key part of supporting staff and this session will outline motivation theories and give an opportunity for participants to share ideas.
Training content:
The training covers the following key areas:
- supervision and appraisal processes
- your role in managing performance and how to address underperformance
- giving feedback
- to motivating your staff
- delegating tasks
Who should attend?
This session is for anyone new to management and those who have been managing for some time and need to update their skills and practice.
Accreditation / Progression:
This session has a credit value of 2.
Learners can gain a stand-alone ILM certificate or accumulate credits to achieve an ILM Level 3 award (4 credits) or a level 3 certificate in leadership and management (13 credits).
