The Certificate in Independent Advocacy allows Independent Advocates to learn, develop and practice the skills required for employment in their Independent Advocacy role.
This eight-day course includes knowledge and skills-based assessments and involves learners demonstrating competency in work related tasks. Assessment is through a portfolio of evidence which includes assignments, work products and observations. This qualification requires learners to complete five units as well as Induction and distance learning.
