What is the Course?

Level 2 Award in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automatic External Defibrillation (AED)

This course leads to certification in Level 2 Award in CPR and AED.

What can I do once I complete the Course?

This Course will allow you to apply basic first aid techniques to a variety of situations from conscious to unconscious casualties as well as dealing with breathing and non-breathing casualties.

How long does the Course take?

The Course takes around 6 hours in total.  It is normally delivered over 1 day or 2 evenings.

Is there a test at the end of the Course?  What is the pass rate?

This course is assessed by the Trainer throughout the training time as well as completing a multiple choice examination. You must participate to qualify and pass!   The current pass rate is 100%

How is the Course delivered?  What will I learn?

The Course is very interactive and you will be supplied with all materials.  You will learn about resuscitation, placing individuals in the recovery position, using an AED correctly and effectively.

Who is the Course for?

This course delves into depth at CPR and trains you in using an AED. Survival rates of up to 75% have been reported when AED have been used in heart conditions.
