Kids Creative Cafes

Cathedral Quarter Trust

It’s always a challenge to find fun things for the kids to do over mid-term break that’s not going to break the bank but this year there’s a new mini-festival happening in Belfast city centre which is sure to be a hit with families. The Creative Cafés event is bringing culture and creativity to coffee shops across the city centre.
The programme includes a visit to the Mad Hatters Tea Party hosted by the award winning theatre company C21, a trip around the world with ArtsEtka exploring the arts and culture of other countries, a chance to make your own animated adventure using Lego with the Cando Academy and some silly scientific fun with the Institute of Physics and Science Stars. The best part is that all of the events are free! The Creative Cafés festival is part of the Belfast City Council’s on-going programme of investment in city centre animation aimed at driving footfall to the city.
The events will take place at Costa Coffee, Café Nero, Clements, Easons and Castle Court.
The Creative Cafés festival will run from the 18th to the 22nd of February. All the details are available from the Cathedral Quarter Trust website www.cathedralquarterbelfast.com
