This is a basic awareness course for those working with children, young people and adults at risk.
This half day course covers:
- legal and policy context of safeguarding;
- what abuse is and who abuses;
- reporting concerns; and
- code of behaviour for staff and volunteers.
Please note: this session is for groups and organisations operating in Belfast City Council area only.

Volunteer NowOnline / VirtualTraining/AdvicePlease note that Part One is 6th May 6.30pm-9.00pm and Part Two is 13th May 6.30-9.00pm: BOTH sessions must be attended for a certificate to be issued. This certificated training course is suitable for staff and volunteers who have regular and/or direct contact with children and young people (e.g. supervisor, leader, officer in charge).
