This event is on 25th June 2019, at which practitioners will explain and discuss what intergenerational practice has to offer for all areas of community planning. The agenda will include
• Welcome from DFC, Dpt ED and DOJ
• Peter Whitehouse IG schools (see below)
• LGNI’s proposed multiple outcome approach in NI – Age friendly schools
• Stories of those so far involved with intergenerational practice NI
• Discussion, questions and answers Professor Peter Whitehouse, President of Intergenerational Schools USA is a keynote speaker and will present his work on intergenerational practice Peter Whitehouse is a professor of neurology and a former or current professor of psychiatry, psychology, cognitive science, neuroscience, bioethics, history, nursing and organizational behaviour at Case Western Reserve University; professor of medicine at the University of Toronto; and president of Intergenerational Schools International. https://www.intergenerationalschools.org/
