This qualification focuses on improving your personal and professional development and developing key skills essential for leading and managing effective teams.

In the Action Learning sets we will discuss and undertake practical work on key elements of the module accessed online. The assignment support sessions have been designed to support learners in their leadership and management journey and also include practical support for completion of assignments.

The diploma is designed to assist you in bringing best practice and skills in leadership and management back to your organisation.

You will be required to complete 4 assignments totalling 37 credits.

Two larger units – ‘Managing Own Continuing Professional Development” and ‘Improving own leadership performance through action learning’ - are designed for you to improve, develop and record your continuous leadership and management development.  Improving own leadership performance through action learning uses the technique of action learning to increase personal leadership capabilities and improve problem solving and decision making skills.

As part of your assessment, you will be required to make a 10 minute presentation on 5 March 2019 on the topic of your continuous professional development -  the detail will be discussed in the assignment support sessions and in the training sessions.  Access to materials begins on 19 November, however, you need to secure a place by registering and forwarding payment before Friday 16 November 2019.
