This session will include an overview of illegal lending, taken from research that the Consumer Council has commissioned through organisations like Advice NI, Christians Against Poverty and University of Ulster.
There will also be a focus on how illegal lending impacts victims and warning signs that a client may be a victim and potential sources of support.
Who Should Attend
The session will be useful for debt advisers/generalist advisers or anyone who has an interest in the Illegal Lending sector in Northern Ireland. It can also be used as a refresher for all staff.
