Join us for a relaxed guided walk to identify, and learn about, the plants which are found within our woodlands and the importance of creating new woodlands for the environment and nature.

We will be taking a gentle walk through this stunning woodland, noting the different habitats and how the plant life varies throughout the site. Our guide Karl will share his knowledge in a way that captivates complete beginners as well as those who may have an understanding about our native biodiversity. This event is suitable for all ages, and anyone who wishes to know more about our native plants and habitats.

Booking is essential and sturdy footwear is recommended.

    Please note that Part One is 6th May 6.30pm-9.00pm and Part Two is 13th May 6.30-9.00pm: BOTH sessions must be attended for a certificate to be issued. This certificated training course is suitable for staff and volunteers who have regular and/or direct contact with children and young people (e.g. supervisor, leader, officer in charge). It will assist staff and volunteers with meeting good practice standards in safeguarding children and young people.
