Join us for the Go Succeed In The Community event How To Turn Your Talent Into A Business, a free and welcoming networking coffee morning designed to inspire and empower women to take their first (or next) step into entrepreneurship.

Lynn Portrey is the founder of Just a Wee Treat, a Lisburn-based home bakery specialising in bespoke vanilla biscuit gift boxes for all occasions, including weddings, corporate events, and personalised celebrations. Established in 2023, Just a Wee Treat has quickly gained recognition for its beautifully handcrafted treats, offering UK-wide delivery as well as local collection and delivery options.

With a background in customer service and administration, Lynn transitioned from the corporate world to entrepreneurship, turning her passion for baking into a thriving business. Her journey into social enterprise has been driven by a love for creating meaningful, personalised gifts that bring joy to people’s lives.

At this event, Lynn will share her entrepreneurial journey, discussing the challenges and rewards of starting a creative small business, the importance of personalisation in customer experience, and how social enterprise can create connections and community through small, thoughtful treats.

As a business mentor and delivery agent for the Go Succeed in the Community Tina is passionate about guiding entrepreneurs to maximise their marketing and business potential.

Tina’s career began 30 years ago in journalism and media, where she gained invaluable insights into audience engagement and media strategy.
