Free Planning Advice (Cookstown)

Community Places
Community Places gives free planning advice to people and community groups who cannot afford to pay a private consultant. We hold outreach advice events throughout the region and the next one will be held on Thursday, 17 October 2019 in the Rural Community Network in Cookstown. Drop in (to 38a Oldtown Street) any time between 1.00 pm and 4.00 pm. There is no need to make an appointment.
Our fully qualified planners can give one-to-one advice on how the planning system works (applications; fees; enforcement; and appeals); how to comment on or object to a planning application; planning policies and your local council’s decision making process.
If you are not able to drop into the event on the day you can get advice by telephone (9023 9444) or by email (info@communityplaces.info). The advice we provide is confidential, impartial and independent.
Our Planning Advice Service is part-funded by the Department for Infrastructure.
