This training course will assist participants in ‘walking through’ the current Housing Selection Scheme points system and the assessment process completed by NIHE to support applicants in gaining social housing.

The course will focus on:

Accessing social rented housing
Assessment and ranking of applicants
Complex needs assessments
Allocations
Challenging decisions
Legislation in place to support the assessment process and applicants being assessed for social housing

Outcome of the course:

Gain more knowledge on how to advise clients increasing their points and have a better knowledge of the points system.
