NICVA's Policy and Public Affairs Unit is offering a one day course on effective lobbying and campaigning. Learn how government policy and decision-making works in Northern Ireland, and how you can influence it.
The course covers:
- Understanding what lobbying is
- Structures of government and their remits
- Decision making processes and mechanisms for lobbying
- Putting together a lobbying campaign
We will explore ways to influence policy using the channels available through the Assembly, Councils, Westminster and elsewhere.
