Covid Collaborations: How voluntary & community sector/researcher partnership projects are helping those impacted by Covid

NICVA
These two projects, one focussed on the impacts of Covid on young people and the other to support the mental health and wellbeing of people with end-stage kidney disease who are shielding, represent just two examples of projects supported under a special ESRC fund managed by Queen's to maximise the real world impact of research. In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, a proportion of this funding was directed towards supporting Covid-19-related projects.
Webinar particpants will hear directly from the projects how they have taken the results of recent research and, working with voluntary and community sector partners, have collaborated to reach out to different groups and develop new support initatives to help them deal with the challenges the pandemic is posing. After the presentations there will be an opportunity for a live question and answer session.
