With the current prevalence of employability schemes aimed at individuals who have been economically inactive, it is vital that clients understand the risks and rewards that entering work may present to their entitlement.

This 90-minute nutshell will focus on:

Legacy ESA Permitted works
How paid work impacts on Universal Credit LCW
Issues around conditionality and work coaching
Carers Allowance, Carers Elements and work

Who Should Attend

This course has been designed for advisers and others working in the area of Social Security who wish to give the most effective advice

Pre-Learning Requirements

A baseline knowledge in the benefit system is recommended before enrolling.
