Belfast is celebrating its older volunteers!

Community Services Section - Belfast City Council

This is a free event
As part of Age-Friendly Belfast activities Belfast City Council is organising an afternoon of music and fun to celebrate the contribution of older volunteers to the city. Hosted by Hugo Duncan it will be an opportunity to say 'thank you' to volunteers from across the city who are aged 60 and over.

Volunteers make the world a better place for all of us. They share their time, skills, knowledge, and experience to make a positive difference in the places people live, learn, work, and relax. Volunteers contribute to the resilience of our communities and are the backbone of a compassionate and caring city.

In recognition of this Belfast City Council is delighted to host a ‘thank you’ event, to celebrate the city’s older volunteers, recognising the skills, knowledge and experience they offer to others.

Taking place in the Great Hall of City Hall on Tuesday 12th December, beginning at 4:30 pm, it will be an afternoon of music and fun. Hugo Duncan will be the MC and music will come from Country Harmony.
