Belfast is celebrating its older volunteers!
Community Services Section - Belfast City Council
Volunteers make the world a better place for all of us. They share their time, skills, knowledge, and experience to make a positive difference in the places people live, learn, work, and relax. Volunteers contribute to the resilience of our communities and are the backbone of a compassionate and caring city.
In recognition of this Belfast City Council is delighted to host a ‘thank you’ event, to celebrate the city’s older volunteers, recognising the skills, knowledge and experience they offer to others.
Whether you
- support the city’s vibrant community and voluntary sector,
- work in partnership with a statutory organisation, or
- donate your time and skills to help others in your local community,
if you’re 60 or over and living within the Belfast City Council electoral area then register for this afternoon of celebration.
Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come basis. For more information or to book a place contact 07747 615 867 or 07827 823 998. You can also email volunteering@belfastcity.gov.uk
