Artist Talk: Audrey Gillespie
Audrey Gillespie will be giving an exclusive artist talk about her work This Hurts at Belfast Exposed on Thursday 1st September.

To coincide with our latest Streetview exhibition, Audrey Gillespie will be giving an exclusive artist talk about her work This Hurts at Belfast Exposed on Thursday 1st September.

Gillespie's work explores obsession, release and fantasy, and documents the lived experiences of queer youth in Northern Ireland. A deeply personal piece of work, This Hurts also engages with wider issues of identity and belonging in Northern Ireland. Using analogue photographic methods and a 35mm format, the viewer is immersed into a world of 'bleared emotions' as Gillespie documents the community of young, LGBT+ people in Northern Ireland that surrounds her.

This Hurts will be on display from 22nd July to 3rd September 2022.
