The Children's Law Centre Is Reaching Out To The Voluntary And Statutory Sectors In This Quarter And Has Reduced Its Training By As Much As 40% To Support Everyone To Help Children And Young People Claim Their Rights.

This course will be of benefit to any working as an independent provider of supported accommodation, Voluntary sector agencies who support young people, the Trusts, Housing Executive, HSC, Youth Justice, Social workers and anyone who interfaces with vulnerable young people or children in need.
This seminar aims to support all those advocating for the accommodation rights of young people, by providing legal analysis of statutory duties to provide accommodation and leaving and aftercare supports for homeless young people. This will include guidance on applying the Regional Good Practice Guidance (revised 2014) on meeting accommodation and support needs of 16 and 17 year olds (including young people who interface with the youth justice system) in advocacy practice, as well as an update on recent, relevant case law.
