This is a full-time position funded by the Northern Ireland Community Relations Council under its Core Funding Programme for a fixed term until 31 March 2019.

The successful applicant will be required to: 

  • audit existing curriculum material and design, develop and write curriculum material in relation to the four thematic areas Ethical and Shared Remembering; Mediation and Conflict Transformation; Civil Responsibility and Pursuing the Common Good;

  • identify programme areas where resource materials are needed and recommend curriculum development;

  • provide quality Training the Trainers Programmes for educators including teachers and youth workers to enable them to deliver the new Good Relations Curriculum to young people.

 

Experience and qualifications required include the following: 

  • Level 6 Qualification in a relevant discipline;

  • Experience of conducting research;

  • Experience of writing and developing resource materials;

  • Familiarity with each of the thematic areas identified above;

  • In agreement with the ethos and values of Youth Link: NI; commitment to working in a community relations context in an interface setting and commitment to working within a faith context.
