Key Responsibilities:
To work within a small team, with the support of the MEAAP Project Co-ordinator & MEAAP Senior Administrator to deliver the MEAAP “Age Friendly Cross Community” Peace IV Project. This will involve continued relationship building with local statutory, voluntary and community organisations, including support to community groups in target areas.
Essential Criteria:
Significant experience of working in a similar environment.
Able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and assessment skills.
Ability to work sensitively in difficult circumstances with empathy, compassion and understanding.
Ability to work as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
Ability to travel extensively throughout Northern Ireland.
Qualifications:
A recognised 3rd level qualification in community development work, with 1 years’ experience of working in the field of community development supporting older people, intergenerational works or good relation related programmes.
OR
3 years full time experience of working in the field of community development and/or good relations.
Salary: £20,868 per annum
Funding for this position is guaranteed until 31 July 2019
In addition to full time working we are also willing to consider part time applications and secondment opportunities for this role.
