The University of Ulster Students' Union is a membership led not for profit organisation established in 1984 which provides a range of services such as representation and advice for its 26,000 students.

UUSU is a democratic student led organistion which provides a range of services for the 26,000 University of Ulster students based on its Jordanstown , Coleraine, Belfast and Magee campuses.As well as offering services such as academic representation,advice, welfare , volunteering and sports, UUSU also operates a number of commercial operations such as shops, bars and catering facilities. Seven student officers elected by the student membership serve for a 12 month period  and are supported by 60 permanent staff across the four campuses.
