NICVA offers a wide range of low cost room hire and conference facilities in an easily accessible part of Belfast for members, voluntary and community organisations and charitable groups.

Rooms

NICVA's conference centre caters for small and large events with conference and meeting rooms accommodating 10 to 150 people.  The main conference area has a registration desk and reception area for refreshments.  The facilities include:

  • NICVA conference roomConference room - this can be split into two rooms seating up to 50 and 70 people in each room or used as a full room seating up to 150 people
  • 4 meeting rooms - seat from 10 to 26 people depending on the room
  • Training room - seats up to 26 people and includes an optional projector and screen
  • Boardroom - seats up to 16 people with video conferencing unit and plasma screen

Our conference centre is used for a wide variety of events including:

  • Conferences
  • Training courses
  • Meetings
  • Seminars
  • Interviews
  • AGMs / board meetings
  • Conference calls / video conferencing

We offer a range of different layouts depending on room choice including theatre, boardroom, cabaret and classroom, please see our pricing guide for more information.  We also offer evening and weekend bookings at an additional cost, please contact us for more information.

Equipment

While NICVA welcomes people using their own equipment if they wish to, we have equipment for hire in our facilities including:

  • Projectors / screen
  • Laptops
  • Lectern (conference room only)
  • Microphones (conference room only) - include roaming, table top and tie-clip
  • Free wifi
  • Staging (conference room only)
  • Overhead projector
  • Interative whiteboard
  • Video conferencing

Catering

We offer a wide range of catering options for all your needs, including a hot finger buffet, vegetarian alternatives and special dietary requirements on request.

Please note there will be a 10% service charge for all catering (excluding beverages & biscuits).

Parking / Travel

NICVA's conference centre is located on Duncairn Gardens, just off the Antrim Road.  NICVA has a number of free parking spaces available behind the NICVA building to enable you to enjoy your event without the headache and expense of city centre parking. On street parking and parking in surrounding areas is available within walking distance.  NICVA is also located within walking distance of the city centre and York Street train station.  For more information on getting to NICVA please click here.

Accessibility

NICVA's conference centre is fully accessible and includes disabled parking, ramps to the main conference room, wide doors to allow wheelchair access and a lift for disabled access to our boardroom and training room.
