E2A Inclusive Theatre Group is Northern Ireland's leading facilitator of drama/performing arts services directed towards people with and without a physical/learning disability.

With a strong emphasis on 'inclusion' everyone is welcome from aged 7.

E2A Inclusive Theatre Group provides an innovative and inspiring approach to performing arts.

Operating 52 weeks of the year, E2A provides a unique social opportunity for people with and without a physical/learning disability to join together to produce stage shows, concerts, drama workshops, theatre visits and other social activities.

Anyone from 7 and upwards is welcome at E2A, member age ranges from 7-81 with approx 40% of members having some form of disability, including down syndrome and ASD.   The group attempts to utilise the skills, experience or aspirations of members, providing training on technical aspects of theatre (Sound and lighting) through to customer service for front of house volunteers.

The group maintains high production values, ensuring that cast, crew and audience benefit from their theatre experience.  Traditional boundaries are pushed in a thought provoking and inspirational approach.

E2A also provides outreach programmes, such as with NEELB, PSNI and others, through training and bespoke programmes.  E2A is the chosen provider for drama services to the Antrim Schools Cluster 2013/4 and is also involved in disability awareness training with PSNI.

Volunteer Opportunities

As part of the local community, E2A purchases goods and services from local suppliers wherever possible.

E2A also provides volunteering opportunities for people of all ages and experience.  This could be health & social care, technology or performing arts students through to retired people wanting to get involved in scenery painting or costume provision.
