PARTNER SUPPORT SERVICE

An essential component of PBNIs Domestic abuse interventions is the support for partners/ex partners. This support is integral to the provision of an integrated approach to tackling abuse within intimate relationships. This includes but is not limited to;

• Support the partner/former partners of the programme participant.

• Assist with safety planning,

• Provide information about the content of the intervention

• Provide information regarding partner/former partner’s progress on the intervention (within agreed parameters),

• Provide relevant signposting to other agencies

• Working within a multidisciplinary context
