Belfast Pride - Business Opportunities

The Belfast Pride Festival is Northern Ireland's leading celebration of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans community and continues to build on its successes over the years, delivering a dynamic and diverse programme of events for all.
 

The Festival consists of a week long series of events, culminating in the annual Parade through Belfast City Centre and the Party in the Square, which will take place in Custom House Square on Saturday 1 August 2015.

Pride is celebrated around the world near the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots in New York City in June 1969, which were the start of the modern fight for equality of rights for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered (LGBT) people. The first Pride parade in Belfast was organised in June 1991, and thus 2015 is our 25th anniversary year.

We are currently seeking providers for the following services:

Event First Aid / Ambulance Cover - Saturday 1st August

Event Security - Friday 31st July to Sunday 2nd August

Event Infrastructure (Fencing, Portable Offices, Toilets) - Friday 31st July to Sunday 2nd August

All prospective applicatants must have experience in working at large outdoor events catering for up to 5,000 people and meet the relevant licensing / health and safety requirements.
