Pretty 'n' Pink says 'I Do' to designer wedding dresses donation.

Pretty ‘n’ Pink, a Northern Ireland charity that’s celebrating its 10th year, has just said ‘I do’ to an exclusive selection of wedding dresses, worth £20,000, from Co Down-based luxury bridal boutique, The White Gallery.

The ten designer dresses have been donated to the charity by The White Gallery’s founder, Rachel Morgan, who wanted to make a charitable donation with a difference.  When hearing of the charity’s 10thyear, it was the ideal opportunity to offer a little piece of luxury to ten brides-to-be whilst raising funds for Pretty ‘n’ Pink.

Providing financial and other support services to patients with breast cancer, Pretty ‘n’ Pink will be showcasing its birthday gifts from The White Gallery in its charity shop, at the Park Centre, Belfast.

The bridal dresses, which are from previous season’s designs, come from a range of exclusive collections by internationally renowned bridal designers, including Yolan Cris and Irish designer Don O’ Neill, they’ll be considerably marked down when they go on sale at Pretty ‘n’ Pink.

“The White Gallery is thrilled to be able to donate these dresses to such a worthy cause and to help raise much-needed funds that will go towards supporting breast cancer patients and their families,” comments Rachel Morgan, Co-Founder of The White Gallery.

Rachel adds: “In addition to the funds raised, there will be some very happy brides-to-be! All of our designers are exclusively stocked by The White Gallery therefore the lucky brides who get to own one of these dresses will have an exquisite gown that’s very unique.”

Founded in 2006 by Belfast woman Noleen Adair, who passed away two years ago, Pretty ‘n’ Pink has helped thousands of women in its ten years. Commenting on the donation from The White Gallery, Noeleen Lynn, Fundraising and Marketing Manager at Pretty ‘n’ Pink, says:

“We are overwhelmed by the generosity of The White Gallery in its donation of these dresses to our charity. We provide financial and support services for women with breast cancer daily and if we can help ten brides to make their big day even more special, whilst raising funds for the charity, it’s a win, win!

“Pretty ‘n’ Pink would like to say a big thank you to The White Gallery for supporting the charity and we look forward to helping some prospective brides find their perfect dress in our shop during a special ladies’ day event, which is being held on the 11th June.”

The Pretty ‘n’ Pink charity shop is located in the Park Centre, Donegall Road, Belfast and the wedding dresses donated by The White Gallery can be viewed and purchased at ‘Boudoir in the Park’, a special Ladies Day event due to take place in the Park Centre on 11th June.
