People Power conference - bursaries available

The 'People Power' conference taking place in London on 6 March brings together an impressive array of speakers to generate challenging debate and discussion on the latest trends, topics and ideas that will shape the future of campaigning.

Salil Shetty, Secretary General of Amnesty International and Dame Vivienne Westwood, Patron of human rights charities Liberty and Reprieve will book-end this year's Sheila McKechnie Foundation (SMK)  ‘People Power’ conference being held in London on 6 March.  Between them will be an impressive array of speakers that will generate challenging debate and discussion on the latest trends, hot topics, and ideas that will shape the future of campaigning.

A limited number of free conference places are available for campaigners.

The bursary scheme covers the cost of a ticket to People Power, as well as reasonable travel and accommodation expenses.

If you are currently a campaigner who cannot afford the conference fee, or work with a not-for-profit organisation with an income of less than £150,000 then you will be considered.
