The Awards recognise organisations that promote family friendly working practices. Initiatives such as flexible working, Childcare Vouchers and other employee benefits make it easier for parents to balance their home and work life.

There are 4 categories to choose from. Last year’s winners were as follows:

Large Private Sector Company of the year- BDO Northern Ireland

Public Sector Organisation of the year- Police Service of Northern Ireland

Social Enterprise and Charity of the year - Action Cancer

Small Medium Enterprise of the year- McNeill and Selective Travel Management

The top 12 finalists will appear in the Childcare Works Awards Calendar for 2014 of which the four category winners will be presented with trophies at an awards ceremony in Belfast City Hall on 18 September.
