Position: Multiple Realities Project Coordinator
Location: Belfast
Job Type: Fixed term full time post until 31st January 2018 (possible extension subject to funding). This post is funded by BBC Children in Need
Salary: NJC Scale 6 (£22,937 - £24,472)

Description:

Would you like to be part of our energetic, innovative team? WheelWorks youth arts organisation seeks a Multiple Realities Project Co-ordinator to promote, co-ordinate and deliver a range of its issue based arts projects and workshops for marginalised children and young people aged 4– 18 across Northern Ireland.

You will be responsible for the fundraising, co-ordination and monitoring of the latest development of the Multiple Realities Project, the post will require experience of project managing, fundraising and evaluating arts/community projects (preferably with young people).

Your role will require, but is not restricted to, the following attributes.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both on the telephone and face-to-face


• An understanding of the needs of marginalised young people aged 4 – 18 throughout Northern Ireland.


• Enthusiasm for working as part of a team whose principal focus is widening access to the arts for young people and provide exceptional service


• IT Skills


• A pro-active approach, prepared to take actions that may improve the business


• Strong organisational skills, and the ability to plan and prioritise workload


• The ability to develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders, funders, community and staff


• The willingness and ability to learn and adapt to change


• A flexible approach to working hours


• Self motivated


• The ability to work with minimal supervision and take ownership to solve problems
